OData Service not working for some users?

Hi experts,

I'm new to Fiori and currently I was able to make an OData service work in the application.

There's an initial screen which fills a dropdown list and it's working for me.

But the problem is other users can't see the values in dropdown list.

When doing the oModel, the user and password are both null.

May I ask how to solve this?

Thank you very much!

    Hello Leo Angelo,

There are two types of authorizations in Fiori, Front-end Server authorizations and Back-end Server authorizations.

The Front-end server authorizations mainly determine, which Fiori apps a user can see.

The Back-end server authorizations however determine the OData services that a user can execute.

In your case I am therefore expecting missing Back-end Server authorizations. Please have a look at this excellent blog by Masayuki Sekihara for more details:

    Best regards
