Can we round absence hours using rounding rules.Or how we can round the (less than one day) absences in 2001?
Rounding Rule is basically assigned to the Counting Rule to determine the way in which the values are to be rounded as Counting Rules are used for counting attendances and absences by determining payroll days and hours of an attendance or absence.
You can check the Rounding Rules:-
SPRO-> then
Personal Time Management -> Time Data Recording and Administration->Absences->Absence Catalog->Absence catalog->Rules for Absence Counting

hello amit,
thnks for your timely reply,
my problem is not yet solved. the requirement is, if an employee is absent (LOP-unpaid absence) for 5-25 minutes , the system must round it as 30 minutes absence
i created rounding rules, substituted in counting rule, but nothing happens.
