Why PO is emailed even though output type does not have condition records

Hi All, please I have a question. I have 2 output types OT1 and OT2, both have been set up for email transmission but only OT2 has condition record (document type NB) maintained.

I am creating a Standard PO and I am able to send it trough OT2 which is normal. I create a 2nd standard PO and this time I change OT2 to OT1 and I am still able to email the PO.

How is it possible?

Thank You.

Conditions are used to enable SAP to create the message records without human inervention.

For manual activities (.."I create a 2nd standard PO and this time I change OT2 to OT1) SAP does not need condition records and will not check if any exists.

it got its parameters from the automatically found condition, and then you just changed the output type, nothing else. so anything else remained unchanged and hence you can email it.
