SAP BW on ORACLE Migration to SAP HANA, How can I maintain the Delta queue in system ID Change?

Experts,

We are planning to Migrate our SAP BW System on Oracle to a new System on HANA, we don't want to re initialize all the delta queues beacuase theay are several queues.

Exists any way that can we clone or use a Delta Queue to don't have to re initialize all the queues??

Hello Martin

The Migration from Oracle to HANA is a in-place migration with a replacement of the database, so there is no delta queue cloning needed.

btw: this a only needed when you simultaneous want to feed two BW Systems from the same SAP ERP Source

Thankyou! you are rigth, but for the requeriments of our client we are doing a new BW landscape, we area changing the SO, upgrading, and changing the DB., to maintain the operation we need to clone de Delta queues.

You can copy delta queue using PCA tool.

Thank you for your replies and sorry for my delay.

Andrey is PCA a licensed tool or it's free? we read about it but we foud that the PCA is a tool thats need a valid license of LVM https://blogs.sap.com/2013/03/20/frequently-asked-questions-when-using-bw-post-copy-automation/

Hi Martin,

As far as I remember PCA should be licensed so please contact your SAP Account responsible for the details.

Unfortunately, I don't know any other tool to copy delta queues.
