Scheduling capabilities in SAP Lumira 2.0

Hi All,

I am looking for more information about scheduling Design Studio dashboards in BI platform. The road map for Lumira 2.0 mentions that scheduling is added as a feature, but I could not find any detailed information related to that.

Basically, we have dashboards developed using Design Studio 1.6 and we included the option to print them as a report. User clicks on a printer friendly button, which would turn the dashboard into a multi-page report and it is currently live in our BOBJ portal. I would like to automate this process by scheduling these reports on a weekly basis. Where can I get more information related to this? Does it work the same way as scheduling/bursting in WebI? Please help. Also, are there any third-party components currently available that would achieve this result?

Hi Sri - the roadmap covers scheduling for Lumira 1.31, not Design Studio

I don't see anything in the roadmap that covers scheduling for Design Studio (aka Lumira Designer in 2.0)

There is an idea in Idea Place at https://ideas.sap.com/D37738 if you want to support it.

As for add-ons, I am not personally aware of any; but please check the extensions at https://analytics-extensions.enter.sap

ASUG has a webcast next month to cover Lumira 2.0 - feel free to register and ask SAP this question online.

Thanks Tammy. I added my support to this feature in Idea place. Unfortunately, I did not find any relevant partner extensions for Design Studio. I will keep checking.
