BCS Data Basis

Hi,

I am creating a Data basis initially in the SEM BCS system.

System gives an error 'Info object 0BCS_DTEQI is not actively present in BW system."

Can anyone guide me how to over come this error.

I looked in BCT also this object was not present. What this info obejct is ?

HI Martin,

I Could not find this Info object in BCT.

I created the ZBCSDTEQI info object and assigned that to Investments dimension. But still the same error message I am getting.

Can pl guide me out.

Hi Chowdary,

How have you tried to find the IO?

It's simple. Go to BC screen, Object types - Infoobjects - Select objects, in the search screen use a binocular to find the IO.

Before posting I tried that I could not find that IO in the BCT.

Is there any way to create that object?

If yes what data type and elements that object needs ?

You may create your Z-infoobject:

CHAR 1 with Alpha, with medium lang-dependent text and replace by it your SAP IO.

Hello Chowdary,

this is an infoobject "Scope of Reported Data for the Equity Method" from the BCS content (<a href="http://help.sap.com/saphelp_nw2004s/helpdata/en/8f/17250c9caf4fa1970e28b52b7e6aaa/frameset.htm">see help</a>). You'll find it in the "Equity Holdings Adjustment Data" Cube in Ta. UCWB -> Data Basis -> Data Streams tab. If you need it depending on your business requirements, you have two possibilities:

a) installing it from Business Content or

b) creating your own IO of the same meaning.

I could not find that IO in BCT. If I create 0BCS_DTEQI info object what data type and elements I need to give. Where I need to assign this object.
