We are implementing BPC Embedded. Can we use ADSO directly for building aggregation level and then Model on top of that aggregation level in BW 7.4 SP15 version or we have to build composite provider then aggregation level on it?
In future we are planning for S4 planning so ADSO will be good path for us or a Cube?
Also, We have checked in our system while creating ADSO in Special Types we don't have Planning Mode and Direct Update.
Thanks,
Mohit
Hi Mohit,
BPC Embedded uses PAK as planning engine, full support for aDSOs comes with BW 7.50 SP04 and higher (cube-like aDSOs and direct-update aDSOs); you create aggregation levels on top of aDSOs or composite InfoProviders as usual. To include these objects in BPC Embedded environment/models comes with BW 7.50 SP05, cf. note
