Assigning LDAP users to ume group

Hi Experts,

I have a urgent requirement for assigning LDAP users to ume group with a background schedule job.

We have two function module one for India group and another for non India group.

This function module will give users information based on country code and output of function module is userid.

Please help me how to write a logic for the above requirement and also we need to schedule a background job for this.

Our portal version is 7.4 SP13, ECC 6.0 EHP7 and NWDS 7.3

create LDAP groups(according to your need i.e like your Indian and Non-Indian users) and assigned portal roles to the LDAP groups. Then if you want a user to have specific access on the portal you can just assign the portal group to them.

OR Create a Web Service for by passing parameter "Country code" which will catergorize Indian and non-indian users and output as user id.Now deploy the .ear file on any portal server which will help you to assign LDAP Users to UME groups as UME is already integrated in SAP EP.
