Posting period error - PGI

Hi, Good Morning.

I am posting the goods issue and getting the error "posting is possible only for 11/ 2006 and 00/00 for the company code 3101". In the material master, the current period is 11/2006.

I went to Opening and Closing period in FI and change the settings to 2006 and 2007.

What should I do to fix this problem. Do we need to change any settings to post for other than current periods.

Check MM period -MMPV

FI period - OB52

In the delivery document check the "Actual GI date" (VL02N -> Item Overview). I guess you have not changed it to period 11/2006. Change the date to Nov (if you are using calender year)you will have no problem. By default (if left blank) that field takes the value of current date.

Hi,

this is MM settings and use MMPV to close the prev month and open the new period.
