assign plant to ccode

Scenario:

I am creating a new setup wherein I have taken the Company Code as IN01(provided by SAP for India).

I have made FI settings in it. Now I copied a plant:0001 from C Code:0001 (SAP std C Code) to a new one plant:1000.

Bu when I am assigning plant:1000 to CCode:IN01 , 1000 is showing as attached to CCode:0001.

What shall I do to assign it to CCode:IN01

Hi VS,

You need to go to IMG > Enterprise structure >Assignment > Logistics-General > Assign plant to company code

there you check the plant 1000. If it is assigned to company code 0001 then select the plant and detach it from company code 0001 by deleting and saving. Now you select the plant 1000 which is not assigned to any company code & assign to company code IN01 and save the changes. It will work.

When u copied the plant which is assigned to company A to other plant , the copied plant also copied to same company code.

You can change the assignment in the IMG enterprice structure->assignments.

Remove the assignment from the company code 0001 . the assign the plant 1000 to the company code IN01. System will allow you to do this , if there is no master data and transaction data is created in the system.

In OX18 I clicked on IN01 and then clicked the assign tab, then I get the message "All objects are assigned"

Diagnosis

Either you have completed the last possible assignment or you have tried to make an assignment that is impossible.

Procedure

There are two reasons why this assignment may not be possible. Either the line is already marked as incorrect, which means that all further assignment attempts are prevented, or no more assignments can be made because they have already all been made or priority Customizing work has not yet been completed.

How shall I proceed?
