Local Member is creating Blank Member EPMOlapMemberO

Hi Experts,

I am getting problem with local member

as i am creating local member its doing sum properly on rows axix but its not creating local member its creating EPMOlapMemberO why ?

= EPMOlapMemberO("[Blank Member]","","","","000")

Hi,

I am also having the same issue with my report. When I try to add local member it is creating a local member on top of the local member cell.

For example, I have a local member to show description and enabled it. Description showing fine however I can a blank member showing up on top of the Description cell (E10).

Actually I need to write 'Description' on the cell (like ID in the screenshot). Please advise how to remove this.

Please create a new question and attach screenshots using "Insert Image" button.

Your report structure is not clear - explain axis!

Start with simple report containing only one dimension in the row axis.

Add a single local member with =SUM(EPMALLMEMBERS) with description Grand Total and positioned after row axis.

You will see a correct line.

I don't understand what do you want to get with second local member - the formula is missing.

Sorry, but not clear what are you doing!

With local member defined as on the screenshot you will get a correct sum of all members...

Please show your report screenshot!

Hello Vadim,

As you can see in C89 i am getting =EPMOlapMemeber, I do not know why ...Its giving me a sum in M89, But the problem is C89 is not having any text, Much surprising thing is i am creating local member to sum but and in a result it is giving me sum but C89 is blank and when i am checking the C89 cell its creating =EPMOlapMemeber, without any text.

Its is not enough ..

Now i created one another local member

Now in result i am getting blank OLAP memeber 😞

You can check c90 is giving as EPMOlapMember, I do not know why ..

SUM i am getting but i am not getting TEXT on C89 AND C90 YOU CAN SEE its blank, In C89 test should be Grand Total And In C90 Text should be GRANDTOTAL_2.

More over its creating EPMOlapMember which is not correct ..
