BAPIs for CCS

Hi Gurus,

We have a very urgent question for a project we need to develop...

Does anybody knows what existing function modules, customer exits or BAPI's there are to update the meter reading routes, sequence numbers and meter reading notes in SAP CCS? (customer care support)

There are no BAPI's for this requirement.

Does it mean we will need to develop functions or programs for that? According to your experience do you know how long it would take (aprox) to program each one of the functions? (in hours) We need to make an estimation...

Another question,

We need to use messaging server to make calls (from our GIS application) directly to the SAP BAPI’s, RFCs, and function modules (without using XI). We have some mapping functionality built in via XSL stylesheets though not as sophisticated as XI's and we'd just need to plug in an RFC or iDoc channel and implement an additional reply message mapping.

Would you recommend us to use iDoc interfaces over RFCs/BAPIs to do that?

Yes u need to develop Function Modules and might be RFC enabled.

Do you know how long it would take to make each one of the programs? (aprox)

depends on the requirement...Say, it is somewhat medium one then it may take around 10-15 days whereas if it looks somewhat complex then it would go say abt 15-30 days.
