Email trigger to vendor for alert inICH

Hi,

Even after doing the required SCOT settings in Basis, we are unable to activate email notification for the inventory related alerts in ICH 5.0. We have in place email addresses for users of customers and suppliers as well as BP type organizations...but unable to generate email on updating alerts in the alert monitor. Can anyone help??
