    Hi Sarika,

It means when there will be any critical situation in PI AE or IE which is required to be addressed immediately, an alert will be generated in the PI system via alert configuration you have done.

You can maintain generic email id (email id who suppose to receive the alert) in fixed recipient field or in Default Alert consumer job .

    Thanks,

    Apu

    Hi Sarika,

Generic mail id means an email id for a group. Suppose you have 5 members in a support team and all of them should receive alert mail in case of any error.

So, you need to create a generic mail id for the group like pi_support@abccompany.com where all 5 are members. If you are not using CBMA but classical alert configuration in dual stack then simply create user id in SU01 for all of the support guys who should receive the mail. In general info, maintain email id. Now. add all of the user ids in fixed recipient.

    Hope, your doubt is cleared.

    Thanks,
