Searching .jar files in portal

Hello all,

I am in search of some jar files. Few i got from other thread answers but still some missing.

1. "com.sapportals.portal.prt.event.RedirectEvent" which jar contains this?

2. "WorkAreaData" this object is in which .jar file?

pls help

Hi Kedar,

  • com.sapportals.portal.prt.event.RedirectEvent is in prt.core, which is the \irj\root\WEB-INF\portal\system\lib directory

  • WorkAreaData is in the com.sap.portal.navigation.contentarea_core.jar that is in the com.sap.portal.navigation.contentarea portal application.

As always, be careful as these are unsupported APIs.

Hi Kedar,

No fishes here, but rather a fishing-rod ...

1. WinRar searches inside jar files.

You can use it to search for the file RedirectEvent.class (you can start from usr folder if you don't know where it is).

2. There is a <b>great</b> tool called Class Locator.
