Error with Extraction Structure

Hi,

I am getting an error called

No extraction structure active or no BW connected

when I am trying to initialise the data source called 2lis_11_VAKON. Please some give me the solution how to solve.

Message no. M2630

Diagnosis

There is not an active extraction structure for data transfer to the Business Information Warehouse. Or there is no Business Information Warehouse connection to the OLTP system. A statistical data setup is therefore not recommended.

Procedure

First activate the posting of the extraction structures, and/or make sure that a Business Information Warehouse is connected to your OLTP system.

Hi Siva,

I working in Devlopment. Like I already used this data source for ODS. Now I want to use for Info cube. I want to initialise the data source to load data into Info cube.

Hi Gili,

Thanks for your response, I check all the SDN forums. Here I have two doughts like

1) I created generic datasource and replicated into BW. I can see the in BW

2) But issue is when I am trying to assing the datasource, I cant see the datasource name.

Does this useful to you to give me solution. Like I mean my connection is disconnected between BW and R/3 or what.

Anticipating response at the earliest.

Is this the first time you're using this? If so have you done the necessary setting in TCODE: LBWE?

If not... say if you're already been using this and trying to do re-init then

If you're doing it in production follow the below steps doing init/delta.

1) Delete the the data sourve from RSA7. and also Delete previous delta init and deltas from data targets (only if necessary) Delete the init from the info package also.

2)Delete the Set Up Tables for Application Component 11 on R/3 side.

3) Lock Transactions related to sales (Mostly v* check with basis people)

4) Check the delta queue is empty for all the data source related to Application Component 11

5) Executing a test setup run and the Extractor checker to ensure that changes are transported successfully for Datasources 2lis_11_VAKON

6) Delete setup tables for 11 to remove data that came after test run

7) Replicating datasources on BW Side for Application Component Sales n Distribution.

😎 Fill the Set Up Tables for Application 11. Schedule the job in BKG

9) Let the Set Up Table Filling Jobs be complete

10) Create/Use an InfoPackage for Delta Init without data transfer for Sales ODS's from Datasources 2lis_11_VAKON.

11) Schedule V3 Jobs for Application Component 11 immediate to collect update entries into Delta's

12) Unlock transactions

13) Create/Use an InfoPackage for full Load with repair request for Sales ODS's from Datasources 2lis_11_VAKON
