CSV upload to data target

Hi friends,

I have got cvs file in this formate, when i try extract to the file and see in preview its giving me error and its not giving me correct figers in infoprovider.system is asking "ending incorrect cahnge? yes ,no or cancell ,

Iam using ;

data saparater id ;

Escape sign :,

Examle of data in flat file

<b>602441;2000;Statoil;M;UPN;38;Skade II og III</b>

plz give me tips.

Hi Hari,

Change your infopakage settings as described below.

data saparater id ;

Escape sign "

Seperator for thousands is .

Charecter used for decimal point is ,

uncheck the currency conversion for external system.

hi hari,

Try to open your flat file with the notepad and see what seperator you have there as data seperator. use the same in your infopackage.

Hi friends,

I hope my datasaprated with ; but if I see the last colum there is a space between <b>II or III</b> , I hope what is effecting updateing the data.

can anybody tell me if there is gap between one char to another char with in the colum , will it give the error.

Plz let me know.

there should be separator between ur last fields or else the sys will deem all of them to be a single value. Thats the reason why ur load fails. make changes to one record in a seperate file and try loading it.
