When using the STS, a planner sends his data for approval, and the status changes from 'New' or 'In process' to ''For approval' . Subsequently the superior user either approves, or sets 'back to revision' . And so on up the organisation hierarchy.
In our case 'sending for approval' generates 'released' versions using a copy function.
We have some instances of users approving nodes, without first sending for approval (typically they are not input nodes); this results in data missing in a 'released version' .
Is there a simple way to prevent a node being set to 'approved' without first being 'sent for approval'? (it does not show 'red' in the monitor)
Also are any reports available on STS statuses?
Thanks, Stephen
There is no standard functionality for this. You can change BSP application TUNGUSKA to implement logic, that you need, but be careful - this is modification of SAP standard code.
