Long Texts in BP Transaction

In the BP transaction under the long texts tab there is a drop down with a number of entries in the drop down for different types of long text to enter.

I am trying to find where I need to go to add another custom long text type to this dropdown but have had no success in finding it.

I have looked in SPRO and in BUPT.

I think I have found the data set CRM003 CRM Long texts and the application CRM3 but cannot find where I put the entries in config. to put an extra option in the drop down.

Can anyone give any directions on where to go to find this?

You can create Text Objects and add them to BP which would appear under BP LongTexts Tab.

Follow the steps to configure text object and assign the text object to BP Long texts.

1. SPRO -> Customer Relationship Management -> Basic Functions ->Text Management

2. Click on Define Text Objects and Text Types

3. Select the Text Objects and Id's radio button and click on Change button

4. Look for BUT000 entry under Object column and double click on BUT000

5. Click on Create icon to create new Text object,enter text Id and description and save it.

6. Go back to Text Management under IMG and click on Define Text Determination Procedure

7.Select the row BUT000 and click on 'Definition of Procedure ' folder icon in the left hand side

8.Add your custom text object.
