Hello

i have data in R3 tables.For example i have data in bsik table data called

profit center.

How will i know in which Infocube the table data had been mapped.

or vice versa...in infocube the data is loaded....how will i know from

which r3 table data had been loaded...plz help

i have already tried using se16.....rsoltpsource and rsfieldmap.........

could not find the field in r3 which is mapped to bw...

the tcodes rsoltp source and field does not exist is the message.

use SE16 to view the table contents mentioned by Dinesh.

Hi Hema,

You would not be able to find the table unless you find the fields. To find the R/3 fields on the BW side use the table RSOSFIELDMAP and also use the table RSOLTPSOURCE.

no....

i exactly want to know from which r3 table data is mapped in bw.

it is this way...i have data in r3 table bsik.....

in which infocube is the r3 table data mapped is my question.

The second thing is if the data is in the infocube, how will i know

from which r3 table it is being loaded.

Unless and until it is a generic extractor and based on direct table extract you would not have direct mapping of R3 table to BW .

Other thing is that once you know if it standard datasource go to help.sap.com and search on datasource ..it gives you the mapping of what field name and table name to that of extract structure..

Hi Hema,

On BW: Right click the Cube -> Show dataflow -> turn the technical properties on and find the datasource technical name.

In R/3: You can use this blog by Roberto:
