Embedded analytic BW 7.5 on Hanna

Hello,

To activate BI reporting package for sales and distribution, in the transaction BSANLY_BI_ACTIVATION, choose category 03, select the business function 'LOG_SD_ANALYTICS_01' and activate. When we proceed, we get the error 'The 2O0SALESOFFICE infocube does not exist'.

The error message "2O0SALESOFFICE infocube does not exist" indicates that the error is related to an Operational Data Provisioning (ODP) data source. A transient BW info-provider resulting from ODP definitions can be identified by name prefix “2O”.

A detailed search on your issue took me to OSS note # 2228056 - SAP S/4HANA - Simplification Item SI9: SD_ODP - Operational Data Provisioning. This note mentions that "Operational Data Provisioning in SD is not supported within SAP S/4HANA, because it is not the target architecture". You need to use CDS views when using Embedded Analytics as BI Content Bundle cannot be used in S/4 HANA.
