Error in configuring a wage type

I copied a wage type from Secondary wage type. Its characteristics shows 'Percent' in......... 'Time Unit/meas'. As this was not required I removed it but while saving, system gave me an error.....No time unit has been specified. What to do?

These 2 fields need to have a initial value.

Check Maintain Wage type Charecterstics.

And check the input combination.

Input combination is:

Amount = +

Number/Unit = .

When I am trying to delete 'Percent' from 'Time/Unit meas. the following error appears:

No time unit has been specified.

What to do?
