Unable to find my cube in BEx that has a Non Cumulative Key Figure

Hi all of you,

I have created a cube STOK_MVMT, which has a char StorLocation and a Non cumulative key figure Stock which has 2 cumulative key figures Inflow and Outflow.

For this Stock non cumulative key figure under Aggregation tab under the section Cumulative/Non-cumulative values I chose the radio button Ncum. Value with in- and out- flow and accordingly selected Inflow key figure for Inflow and Outflow key figure for outflow

The exception aggregation that got selected by default is Average (weighted with the number of days)

Now my problem is

I am unable to find this cube STOK_MVMT when I open my BEx to create reports. I am able to find 2 other cubes from the same info area but not this cube which has a Non Cumulative Key Figure.

I had selected the radio button Generate Initial Status under Update tab while creating the info package as I was dealing with the stock. So is it something got to do with this because earlier I always used to select only Full update when my cube had only cumulative key figures. Why is it so? Can any one please explain?

First of all check if the cube is active.

Second in BEX you choose create query? Otherwise you'll see only cube that already have query!

Hi Tristan,

Have you previously created a query for this cube? The cube does not usually show up in the Open Query window because there is no query created for it. You can put your cursor on the Infoarea containing your cube and click on the Create button. This will prompt you to choose the cube you need. If its still not there, check if you have successfully activated the cube. Hope it helps.

When I run the load data is coming into PSA but when I run the BEx report I am getting the message No Applicable Data Found.

I compressed the cube and tried both ways unselected No Market update and selected marker update. Under both circumstances I am getting the msg No applicable data found when executig the BEx report.

Can any one please explain what could be reason for this and what should I do so that I get the data in the report.

hi

Check whether your cube is activated after all the changes have been done

Then see in the BEx report. It will definetely show all the activated cubes relevant for reporting

Assign points if useful
