Hi all
when i display customer balance in FD10N, it is showing nil balance. but when i go for F-28 ie incoming payments it is still showing open items.
Even when i display documents , amount in documents and open item is differring. ( In local currency )
How i can solve this

Hi ,
The open items what you could see must be manual documents posted for foreign currency revaluation .
You can use F-05 to adjust the amount in local currency .

Hi Pushkaraj,
<b>F-28</b> enables you to manually clear Customers payments against previous Sales recorded against that customer as you are recording the payment.
However, if there had been other credits to the customers account like Credit memo etc, then you would have to execute transaction code <b>F-32</b> (Clear Customers).
The difference between the two transactions is that in <b>F-28</b>, you are posting and clearing at the same time, whilst in <b>F-32</b>, the postings have be done previously and all that you are doing is clearing.
You can then use transaction code <b>FBL5N</b> to display customer line items for "<b>Open items</b>", "<b>Cleared items</b>" or "<b>All Items</b>".
I hope the above helps.
Do not forget to award the point please.

Jacob

NIL balance in FD10N does not mean that all documents have been cleared. It only indicates that Debit & Credit amounts are matching. You can check this using T code FBL5N and selecting open item display. In such case you will have to manually clear the documents using T code F-32.
