CRM and cProjects integration

Hi all,

I am a bit puzzled about the cProjects and CRM functionalities in unison.

I have a scenario in mind.

For example,

For an NGO that gets grants and donations for their projects and missions, if want to provide an access to their donors to view where all there money is being utilised and who all(resources) are working on the mission through CRM, how can this be made possible?

As per my knowledge we dont have a concept of Projects in CRM other than the Marketing projects.

cProjects is a new thing for me. If I have understood it right, we can have project related details like project Roles, Costing, Resource allocation and all done in cProjects.

Now if I want to leverage on this aspect of cProjects by means of CRM and provide a front end easy access to the information by means of EP, how may I do it?

Is it that cProjects stores the data in ECC backend?

Please help me solve this problem and come out with some strong understanding of cProjects and CRM usage...

Hello Anila,

cProjects is an Add on R/3. it has its own database but u can link it with PS (project systems) module of R/3 to fetch the project dat from R/3.
