Fiscal Year Variant Asset Accounting Error.

Hi all,

We have shifted our fiscal year from a calendar year to a 445 based calendar .

We are having impact of this change on the Asset Accounting module.

When I am trying to look at the Asset values, it doesnot show up and gives the error

" Fiscal year variant 10 is not maintained for calendar year 2008 ".

We do have the fiscal year variant set up for fiscal year 2006 and we are running on ECC 6.0.

Is there some program change or correction that needs to be applied in this scenario of the fiscal year change so that the Asset Accouting comes in sync with the new variant.

Simple check: Whether fiscal year change has been carried out in Asset Accounting. Program: RAJAWE00

SAP has provided several guidelines in the Document for "Fiscal year change".

Further regarding the "Timing for changeover", SAP has mentioned that,

" If you have already posted depreciation during the current fiscal year, you need to run the depreciation recalculation program (Tools ® Recalculate values) after the change to the shortened fiscal year."You can also refer:http://help.sap.com for detailed documentation.
