Hi all.
My problem is that i did change an activate the workflow model by pftc transaction and when i click on the "Workflow Builder" buttom, got the Message No. WD401: " Workflow definition 'WS90300036' not in version '0012' ".
But by swds transaction i can access the workflow definition and can modify and activate it. Then in the basic data > version overview section of this definition the "Activ" radio buttom is not mark. And by swdd transaction till not access the definition.
Please i need some help urgent.
Thanks and best regards.
Gregory
Hi Gregory,
Sounds like something may have become corrupted. System? Version? I assume you're talking about a dev system.
Try loading the previous version 011 and see if you can activate that. Edit it in the WF builder and try to select v012. Personally I'd do a 'Generate new Version' from 011 and redo all the changes because once a version is corrupt I don't really trust it.
Cheers,
Mike

hi,
the best way is to regenerate the version.just check whether the newer version has been generated or not from the header data-> version overview.
We faced such a situation, then we tried this workaround:
Workaround:
Execute function module SWD_WFD_REPLICATE_FROM_9999 in the client, you need to have the newest template definition. Enter your workflow template ID (with pattern "WSxxxxxxxx") in parameter IM_TASK and execute. Make sure that you do not lock the template in SWDD.
Then you also (may) need to execute transaction SWU_OBUF to synchronize the buffer.
hope this is useful.

Gregory - Did u try doing a SU53 after the WD401 error u get? Maybe you can find some authorization issue?
