cProjects _ PS automatic creation and replication

Hi,

We Are uidng cProjects 4.0 instaled on ECC 6.0 system

We did all the necessry config setting for auromatic creation of project in WBS from cProject, both by task type and role type, but its not working/

FYI , we are not using networks and activity types in the PS system dueto client business process diffference from the standard process, Does this have any impact on the replication program,

Hi Zhenbo,

I have the following task: create a structure of the cProject project in the PS.

New project type is defined for automatic (on save event) WBS elements integration. I have checked the multilevel automatic controlling either for project element or for project structure in controlling scenario, but after I push "Save" button in cProject at Accounting bookmark WBS elements aren't created automatically, I may do this only manually using the existing PS project.

Do you have any idea what is the reason?

Hi Sir,

Just want to know is there any other settings to be done, like controlling scenerios and costing variant etc in the Connection to other SAP systems.

Also , is some BAdI coding has to done for replication program.

Hi Saurabh ,

Please check the customizing settings in the ERP system as well, where the controlling scenario is maintained. Badi is just to enhance the functionality, without them the replication should work too.

It seems like, a check report to analyse the customzing settings would be helpful. let me check, if I can have someone do it.

Hi Zhenbo,

I am using cProjects 4.0 and an ECC 5.0 system.

1) Is it possible with this landscape, that i can convert the cProject into PS project? I am aware that if i have ECC6 and cProject 4 i can use Multilevel Controlling.

But how do i go about in this landscape.What are the steps involved to do so?

Do i need to have CRM middleware in this scenario.

Do you have any document regarding Sindle level controlling with Role based costing???? I am able to create Internal order, getting cost and revenue rates but still getting message: Item 00001 : "Cost element does not exist in CO area S300 for 03.10.2007" The date is which on created project in cProjects.

Hi luhadiya ,

It does not matter, that the network & activity types in R/3 PS system are not used. In fact, that is not supported by the cProject 4.0 Co Integration at all.

I think, you have to go through the configuration settings again, it is recommend, at least to apply the cProj. hotpackage 6 or higher. Check points which may help:

1. Connection to R/3 system Using SM59

2. Projekt type, the time point (or status) to replication.

3. costs or revenue rates
