Dear Community,
We have both PPM and CPM. CPM is used for commercial based projects where we capture the costs and bill the customer through certain deliverable milestones and issue/change management.
What is happening is that for a project they are linking both the CPM and PPM to a single PS project, basically for the purpose of PICM and some costing. Is this possible and would you happen to know any issues that we might face? PPM item-->PS project and then create CPM project and link to PS project manually.
Regards
Waza
Hello Warren;
In next versión of SAP PPM S4HANA Q2 2021, would be an integration and creation from PPM to CPM Project Master that will link everything, also SAP PS. SAP are loooking for an EPPM one solution view.

The first decision to make is where are you performing Cost and Revenue planning. All 3 tools do it. You need to pick one as the master planning tool and then work from there.

Hi Nash,
I did not get your question. Did you mean why should we assign PS project to CPM master project. if this was your question. Then if you want use CPM functionalities , then you need to do this.
Thanking you
