Warehouse Physical inventory document

We have an Warehouse Physical inventory document with active status. When I view the document through Table # ISEG or through transaction # ME22, I can see the document with status active.

However when I try to open the document in change or display mode (through transaction LI02N / LI03N), it says “document doesn’t exist”.

I can display the document through MI03 (with a warning message Storage location entered in WM-relevant message no M7727). However when I try to open in change mode through MI02, the same error message appears in error message.

I want to delete/close the physical inventory document. Please help.

Very confusing story, are you doing WM inventory or IM inventory?

The table ISEG is MM, the transaction LI02N is WM - so they do not really fit together.

I just read in an OSS note from 1996 that one can setup the system to automatically create IM physical inventory documents with the clearing of WM counts, 36105 - MMIM: M7727 'Storage location entered is WM-rel' but this would make the story even more confusing as you want change a document after it has been cleared already, which is not supported at all.
