Hi All,

I am using a scorecard for which I would like to show the row count.

Please find my scenario below.

My scorecard is mapped to a datasource DS_1. Data is as below:

Ticket----Status---Month---Count etc

7xxxxxx----Open----Jan---1

71xxxxx----Closed----Jan---1

8xxxxxx----Open----Feb---1

81xxxxx----Closed----Feb---1

9xxxxxx----Closed----Mar---1

91xxxxx----Open----Mar---1

6xxxxxx----Open----April---1

61xxxxx----Closed----April---1

etc......

I have an infochart which shows the count of open,closed and total no. of tickets from each month.

Month-----Overall Count---Open Count----Closed Count

Jan------- 2----------------1-------------------1

Feb------- 2----------------1-------------------1

Mar------- 2----------------1-------------------1

April------- 2----------------1-------------------1

There is an interaction between infochart and scorecard.

I would like to show the count of tickets. For this I have used the below code as mentioned in a blog.

var rowCount = DS_1.getData("<measure technical ID>", {});
TEXT_1.setText(rowCount.formattedValue);

I have used three different scorecards for this. scorecard1(SC_1) to show the overall tickets for each month,scorecard2(SC_2) to show the open tickets and scorecard3(SC_3) for closed tickets.

For SC_2 and SC_3,I have used advanced selection where I have given technical Id="Open" and technical Id="Closed" to show only the closed and open tickets.

The row count shows correctly for SC_1, but for SC_2 and SC_3, the count doesn't show correctly. It still shows the same count as SC_1 since the data source shows the overall tickets and my filtering is happening in the scorecards.

Can someone pls suggest how I can achieve the count for all three scorecards.?

Thanks

Poojitha

What is your data source? Wouldn't it be easier (and faster in Design Studio) to do these calculations back in the data source?

Hi Tammy,

My backend is Universe on Oracle database.

I tried to do that in the backend using rownum() function but I get incorrect numbers for SC_2 and SC_3.

Thanks.

Unfortunately, I don't see a way that Design Studio cannot do these calculations at run-time. Is Lumira Desktop a possibility?

Design studio was suggested for this requirement.

I will look for a workaround.Thank you.
