Hi Experts,

I need to delete one entity but the problem is i am getting alert that entity is attahceed with one of BPF and i want to remove or modify that BPF.

In BPC 10.1 i am not getting any option to remove that entity or modify deployed BPF .

SO now i am not able to delete that entity from BW .

Is there is any way i already deleted all transnational data from the BW for this Entity only BPF part is left.

Please suggest .

Thanks,

Price

Hi Prince Ando, Agree with Vadmin. What you need to do, is to suspend any active BPF instance, then archive the BPF. Before archiving you can make a copy the BPF and make changes what you need. Other option can be just select the BPF and click on new version, do changes and deploy it. The older version becomes obsolete.

Hope it helps!

I don't know if it's your case, but I'm using 10.1 as well and the button to archive was removed.

Once you suspend/finalise an instance, the BPF won't appear for the user but it stays in admin BPF Templates and Instance.

I'm not sure why SAP has deactivated that option (archive BPF), but I guess the only option to delete the BPF stuff is doing it in the backend -

UJB* tables.
