Hello,
I have a question regarding organizing infoobjects (BW 7.5).
In BW we could use normal InfoObject catalogs. But catalogs are not available in the HANA Studio(?). I am not sure but in the HANA Studio I assign an InfoObject always to an InfoArea. Normally I can see the aasigned InfoArea in the properties of an InfoObject. But the InfoArea is empty in the SAP GUI. In Hana it doesn’t exist. So the two views don’t fit together. Have SAP GUI and the HANA Studio different concepts/views on InfoObjects?
Thanks
Marvin
Hi Marvin,
HANA uses attribute views (for InfoObjects) and analytic views (for example DSOs), the easiest way is to select "generate external HANA view" option in the BW so those views will be generated without user's effort. The second option is to make them manually in a selected package (under content).
Regards,
Mateusz.
