Hello gurus,

We are doing an in-process inspection and

we maintain Quality parameters in routing CA01 for

task list type n.

So when the order gets confirmed it creates quality lot by

picking the task list type n .

i want not to pick the task list type but i want to pick the

Quality parameters what i have maintianed in my inspection plan

QP01 task list type Q .

Is there is any customizing needs to be done or thru

Bapi we can achieve it . If so may i know the BAPi names or

teh steps for customizing..

Hi Senthil

The Quality parameters whatever you have maintained in CA01 for task list type N, will be picked up for inprocess inspection. In this case, material master should have inspection type 03.

If you maintain Inspection type 04 in the material master quality view, inspection lot will be created for final confirmation of Order. Then parameters from Inspection type Q will pick into Inspection lot.

Thanx for your reply..

As you told it works similar way for inprocess inspection and

for finished material .

But my requirement is for in-process inspection as you told

the quality paramters what we have maintained in CA01 it picks

from the CA01 for task list type N,,

IS there is anyother way i dont want to pick up from the

task list type N instead , i will maintian a seperate paramters in

task list type Q in QP01,.. i want to pick up that task list

for in-process inspection also..

Is ther anyway i can do that way ..

any work around needs to be done for that ..

Hi Senthil

This is standard design that for inprocess inspection (03), system will look for parameters from task list type 'N' and for Finished product inspection (04), parameters will pick up from task list type 'Q'.

Here I dont have system to play around. You can do one thing.

please check configuration and try to change assignment and see,how it behaves.

SPRO --> Quality Management --> Quality Inspection --> Inspection Lot Creation --> Maintain Inspection Lot Origins and Assign Inspection Types

Here for inspection lot origin 03, default you may have task list type N. try to change this to Q and test it.

please check and let me know how it goes.

It should be fine. But this setting is global. I hope you are aware.

It will effect all plants.
