https destinations (xshttpdest) in XSA

I have a question around the topic XSA development and https destinations and I hope you can help me with.

In XSC we define a Trusted Store, an xshttpdest file and configure the destinations/trusted store via Administration tools.

My questions is, what should be the procedure to define a destination in XSA?

Does the xshttpdest file still be the way to implement it and how? or what is the best mechanism for implementing a call from an XSA project to an external https service?

Is it still managed by XSA/XSJS?

Thank you in advance,

Trinidad MARTINEZ
