Forecast transfer to ECC from SNP planning book.

Hi All,

Currently we transfer forecast from Demand planning book to ECC as standard SAP way by defining the background Activity, Jobs etc. release profile etc.

We have certain issues with this as sometimes the Forecast has been transferred to ECC but this forecast is not yet released to SNP. So in this case SNP and ECC forecast doesn’t match.

We are looking if we can transfer the ‘unconsumed forecast’ (we have this as separate Key figure) from SNP planning book to ECC. This way we have a control that SNP and ECC forecast matches. My question is if this this is correct way of transferring forecast from SNP? Please suggest your opinions.
