I am implementing MSS and am getting an error under tab Employee Review for Objective Setting and Appraisals. The error is:
An error occurred: java.lang.Exception: Error in CFViewgroup.createListModel: No BSP-Template found!
Any clues as to how to fix this?
We have since upgraded to ECC 6.0, so I am closing this thread.

Now its been a while since ive seen that error .... id check the following:
1. User Parameters in the backend HR system
2. User Permissions in the backend HR system (although I dont think its related)
3. In Security Zones - ensure that the com.sap.portal.ep50 node has sufficient privs for your user.
BTW which versions of EP and HR are you using - that may have some bearing - ive only ever seen it on ECC5 and EP6.0 ...

Thanks Haydn for the reply.
I am on EP7 SP12 with SAP ERP 2004 (5.0) backend.
The problem was not related to the security zones for ep_50. I was able to solve the problem late yesterday though. It seems it was an R/3 security issue. Nothing definitive yet, as I am still testing this theory. But, I logged on with another user that has SAP_ALL access, and the BSP loads just fine.
Yes - there are specific security authorisations for appraisal templates.
I assume you havent got structural authorisations enabled here as this definately complicates matters? It might not actually be the "open" permissions that solves your issue - it could be the lack of structurals ...

This appears to be a security issue, or the fact that the user I was trying to access the BSP app with did not have any appraisals or access to create them.
