BOQ and WBS matching for project

Hello all,

We have an issue with the transfer of the system to the SAP in our project start.

Now we just have a WBS structure, but there is an issue with the topic which will affect all the calculations afterwards.

We have an BOQ system which is integrated in all WBS structure when we come here. Now we are trying to match the system with SAP.

For whom dont know BOQ, BOQ is the term Bill of Quantities which means is a document used in tendering in the construction industry / supplies in which materials, parts, and labor (and their costs) are itemized.

But the problem is there are some WBS elements which are matching with 2 or 3 BOQ's and there are some BOQ's which are matching 2 or 3 WBS elements.

Therefore we cant enter the BOQ's like a main head for the WBS elements or we cant match each BOQ for each WBS element.

The solution is not in the PS then.

This is a construction project also.

Is there anyone know how to handle this issue with like in any other module or something?

Dear,

Can you be more elaborate as to what you want to do ? Am not clear as to what you wish to do. I understand that there is one to many relations between BOQ items and WBS list on both sides , its a fact. But what exactly you wish to do is not clear. Please elaborate.

handled it. I tried to explain that neither BOQ nor WBS elements could be the container of each other, then we copied each WBS for each BOQ several times. thanks for your concern.
