Error while extracting and loading material hierarchy

Hello

We have materials already loaded into material dimension in BPC. Some of these materials need to be assigned to a certain hierarchy. Hence I first downloaded these materials to a flat file and then try loading those materials with a new hierarchy. However it is failing with error:

Member xxx of dimension MATERIAL has an invalid hierarchy parent 'PARENTH1'

Flat file has data in below format

ID, Description, PARENTH1

I am uploading the same file with below Transformation file which maps PARENTH1 to a hierarchy called: H1

I fixed assignment of hierarchy by trail and error.

However I have a relatively simple question: When you set the prompt based on dynamic filter in package link as shown below, can I keep the members dynamic based on dynamic filter.

What is happening is, system is hard coding the members retrieved based on the filters at that time and doesn't change with time. i.e. say if there are 3 members at the time of setting up the prompt. Later when the members are changed to 5 or something else, the list doesn't get dynamically updated. Anyone faced same issue?

Entering text in editor should not be that difficult. Well it is, and I am trying to do my best in typing the question; i.e. I hit enter to go to next line and the editor doesn't show it is not next line unless I type in more. Then I type the question assuming it got proper line breaks. After I hit submit if it parses out my text in different format, it is not in my control to edit and change it.

All that said, I can pose about dynamic filtering as another question. However the search for "Dynamic filter" or

"Dynamic filter data manager package" or "Dynamic filter EPM" or "Dynamic filter package link" or "Dynamic filter for prompt" didn't yield any results and especially on your name. What search criteria would get me results on dynamic filtering?

Looks like he is using the same transformation file to load hierarchy from bw and to load from text file...
