ESR & MDM: Registry & repository?

Hi~

Need immediate help:

1. MDM is actually a horizontal product to make ESOA work. With the composition environment, obviously distributed datasources are a reality that customers have to grapple with. Therefore, to get an organization-wide data consolidated in one shape, along with the same metamodel, MDM is required.

2. MDM consolidation will help the transformation to create a unified metadata model for the enterprise that, the metadata from the same will reside in the Enterprise Service repository. If there are distributed data sources, an organizationwide metamodel will be a ghastly affair. (The Registry need)

3. Once the organizationwide metamodel is defined in the ESR & the organizationwide data resides in a snapshot source called MDM, the chances of ESOA becoming a reality becomes possible. (The repository need)

I may be off the mark, but please advise on the answers.

Thank you and best regards
