SEM-BSC poor performance in Web environment, any idea?

Hi every body

I am running a Balanced Score Card in both GUI and Web versions. There is a lowest performance when running in Web, even when you're not accessing the warehouse. For example it takes too much time for the comments window to appear for a given ratio. Or any navigation between perspectives and objectives is slower in Web

Any suggestions?

    Dear German,

The usual problems which cause delay of response time are the number of roundtrips and the number of bytes send/received.

SAP GUI has specific optimization to reduce the traffic, which are not applicable in Web, due to the standard behaviour of browsers.

If transaction /nSTAD in the ABAP backend shows similar time for SAP GUI and Web, then look particularly at the traffic and CPU time at the browser side. If the server side time for SAP GUI and Web is different - maybe different function modules are used at all ....?

Analyse this further with ytansaction /nSE30.

    Best regards,

    Sylvia

    Hi,

We're having the same kind of performance problems. Have you discovered anything related?

    Thanks
