Can I protect/unprotect screen 8000 in TCode MM02 (Material change)? Screen 4300 has the Additional Data tabs. Screen 8000 houses multiple material language descriptions. I need to unprotect this screen (8000) for users that do not have access the Basic Data view.
I suppose, it can be done, if you play with user-specific screen sequences and assignments (OMT3B, OMT3E), but, honestly, I would prefer to keep the material description maintenance centralized instead of granting this access to end users, or, at least, to have some workflow to support the process.
