Difference between Account Transformation Business Rule and COPY Data Manager Pacakage

Dear Friends,

I have to move data from one account to another and I have following two option.

1- Create a 'Account Transformation' Business Rule.

2- Run the 'Copy' DM package and copy the data from one account to another.

Just curious to know what is the difference between the above two. If I can achieve it through 'Copy' DM package then what is the need to configure Business Rule and it is more complicated.

Kindly Advise.

To copy data from one account to another you can use:

1. Standard Copy package

2. Script logic copy package

3. Account transformation

4. Export data to text and import

5. Custom logic badi

For sure if you need to perform simple copy without conditions - use Copy package
