I am working on creation of highly available SAP HANA solution on SLES (with High Availability Extension).
I did the configuration according the guides and everything is working as expected. But I have a question about the -sr_takeover operation duration.
What is normal/average/minimum duration in your landscapes? I haven't found any information on that in SAP documents and notes.
My tests show average duration of takeover around 40 seconds and I am wondering if it is possible to reduce this time. I use Synchronous in memory replication mode.
