Hi,
I need to create an LSMW object to upload IT0008.
Is it possible to do it if employees have a lot of wage types that exceed the first screen.
Does anyone faced this problem before? how was it solved?
Thanx
Karim
Hi Karim,
It is possible to create as many wage type and amount as needed ,
Just do one thing take the Batch Input Recording method in that
use take one record for uploading the IT8 biggest i.e more wage
types and at time of recording dont use scroll at the time
recording use standard tool bar down and up sign you can find
very easily or use page up and page down.

Hi Karim,
Record your transaction....opening pa30, entering an employee number, dates, plugging in a wage type, then an amount, then saving your entry...Once this process is recorded, you can create a CSV (comma separated) text file that contains your personnel numbers and wage types....you can associate the same person numbers multiple times with respect to different wage types. Then when you run your batch, it will loop at your text file...
example...lets say you only have 1 employee and 5 differentwage types. Your text file would look something like this:
001,20060401,99991231,WT001
001,20060401,99991231,WT002
001,20060401,99991231,WT003
001,20060401,99991231,WT004
001,20060401,99991231,WT005
it would run you recorded process, grab the first line, process your recording, save the entry for that employee. It would then loop again at the next line, grab the same employee, but the second wage type and dates and process that entry.

Hi,
For uploading data into IT0008 it is advisable to use BDC in place of LSMW.

Do you mean can you enter multiple wage types for 1 employee? How about running the lsmw for 1 wagetype, and in the read file specify the wage types for the employee so that it will re-run the script each time....example:
emp # wt
0001 1000
0001 1001
0001 1002
0001 1003
0001 1004
0002 1000
0002 1001
0002 1002
0002 1003
0002 1004
