how to avoid execution of an iview when open the folder?

Hi all,

when ich click on a folder name in the detailed navigation the first iView will be executed automaticly.

For example: if you click on "Sytem Administration" and "Transport packages" the export iView is opend.

How to avoid this until I click on it?

The reason behind: we have a lot of BW reports and it is not feasible to have the fist one executed when we open the folder.

Any ideas?

Best regards,

Michael

Hi,

there is a iview property for the detailed navigation called something like: Launch first node on click... (I don't have it in english...) - the property ID is: com.sap.portal.navigation.detailedtree.clicklaunch - set this to False.

Hi Roman,

this sounds exactly what I'm looking for - but not found.

This has to be in the iView or not? What is this in german? and where to find this propety?

Michael,

The iview in question is Detailed Navigation iview

the only word I can say in german is "richtig" ;o)

I changed the portal language to German (I was lost for a while...). So find your frameworkpage (I have it under Portalbenutzer -> Standardportalbenutzer -> Standard-Framework-Seite) - haha this is cool - next time I'll try to change it to chinese... So open this page. Check Desktop-Innenbereich -> Offnen. Check Feinnavigation -> Offnen. Alle anzeigen -> and tratata here it is:

Beim Klicken auf den Ordnernamen wird der erste Knoten gestartet

Alles Gute!
