SAP CBTA - Working with tree structure

Hi Guys,

I am having this issue from really long time now, if anyone has worked on sap tree structure, please help.

I am trying to search a node in tree structure dynamically. But using the search option given in sap , result only gets highlighted not selected , so when i click over that particular node while recording it hard codes the URI . Now while execution if i search another node it will not work. It will select the same node again and again.

I have tried lot of options like trying to get the text of each node and subnode of the tree to loop over it, till it finds desired node. But this is not working as node text comes in sub-property of the selected node in object spy. And i'm not able to retrive the sub-property.

Below is the screen shot , in which the node is highlighted but not selected i want to select it dynamically during execution.

Solman :- 7.1 sp 14

Hello guys, I have the same requirement, how to select a node of a tree for the Text and not the Nodeid?, I have tried all the related components and the task seems not possible, it is a real problem because in some transactions the node number changes because of the introduction of new nodes.
