OS03 contains old server data

Former Member

Dear all,

I've made migration of the complete SAP system landscape production, development and test instances to new servers. (HP-UX 11.23, Oracle 9.2.0.5, SAP R/3 4.6C, kernel 4.6D_EXT 2271)

Two months "everything" works fine, but I have forgot to delete some old data from tables that contain information from the old servers.

Table PAHI also contains info from the old server.

I've notice the error in transaction sdcc in the message log

"PROFILE_FROM_PAHI/O : exception NO_PARAMS_FOUND_FOR_GIVEN_CRIT raised on sapx_PROD_30";

And I've also looked in the transaction OS03 and got that there is no data for the new server on which know the production instance exists.

The problem is that in the table PAHI there is no data for the new server with PARTYPE 'O', only from the old server there is data with this PARTYPE.

Does anyone knows how can I generate data from the new server into table PAHI with PARTYPE 'O' which means the OS kernel parameters?

Thanks in advance,

Many Regards,

Ruzica

Hello Ruzica,

the transaction OS03 is based on the report RSORA110.

This report allows also the execution online via SE38.

There are two parameters:

- Should history be written? --> Space / X

- Type of parameter (O,D,S) --> D for Database; O for Operating System; S for SAP System

If you put an X in the first parameter the report should only write the new data un the table (otherwise the report displays it).

I don't know if this report should be started via batch regulary!?

Hope that helps,

Michael

Hello Michael,

I've tried to start the report RSORA110, in se38 with X and O, or D, because I have only info in table PAHI with S PARTYPE.

Again nothing has changed niether in PAHI niether in transaction OS03.

Thanks,

Ruzica

Hello Ruzica,

the only thing I can think of is the standard jobs. Perhaps the job SAP_COLLECTOR_FOR_PERFMONITOR with the program RSCOLL00 does such things.

I don't know. Sorry.

Regards, Michael
