Columns not visible in tables while creating a view

Hi,

While creating any view in HANA studio, all the column fields in the table are not visible.

However if i go to particular column and select "Add to output", then only the column is visible in the table.

Also for active views, only the columns which are added to output are visible.

Kindly let me know if any settings should be done to view all the columns of the table.

Hi Avish,

Click on the block, then in the details section right click on the block and select "Add all to output".

Thanks for your suggestion.

"Add all to output" works but in most of the cases i dont need all the columns in the output.

My concern is all the columns should be visible in the table even though only few columns will be selected in the output.

Avish,
I'm not sure what do you mean, but if you would like to check the table contents before projection use Data preview (right click on the block and select data preview, raw data) not on the block but on the node or if you don't want them in the final output just remove them from final block or block before the final one.

Hi Mateusz,

I have attached a screenshot of one of the tables which i need to use in creating an analytic view.

Now most of the columns are not visible. Only columns which are selected are visible.

But in general practice all the columns are visible in the table.

That explains a lot, you can't see column's name in details tab.
Could you check properties tab (after you click on a column), also which language settings do you use?

As last resort I'd try reseting the settings to default or reinstall HANA studio.

Hi Mateusz,

Properties tab shows similar fields for visible columns and the column names which cannot be seen too.

Language settings are as English.

I think i will install HANA studio as I am not able to find the solution to this issue.

Hi Mateusz,,

The HANA studio is installed on remote desktop and this issue is faced only by me and not other users.

Do you have any other suggestion by which this issue might be resolved.
