Creating a custom OVS on material BO

Hi,

I have a requirement where I need to create a custom OVS, but I need to create it similar to the material OVS. Just one difference though. In the standard product OVS I see

Product ID, Product description, Product Category, Product Category description and product type.

I want just product ID, product description and Remote object ID from Objectmappingidentifier.

I tried the same way as mentioned by you, but its not working.

Is there any step by step guide to create an OVS on a standard BO.

I want my OVS to be exactly similar to Material OVS but with some additional fields.

We used the same technique to build the OVS and it works always.
